Where’s a Cop When You Need One?
Back in the ’70s, I co-owned a small dinner theatre company in Northwest Florida called The Denver Seed Company. We were doing a production of THE STAR SPANGLED GIRL by Neil Simon. One night was particularly memorable in that more went wrong during the show than I’d ever thought possible. Missed cues, lost props, dropped lines. Although I wasn’t required to be, I just happened to be there that night. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, it all completely unraveled.
