Hi, I’m Ray Schaub. I’m a writer and content developer who’s also an experienced businessman, consultant and programmer – all essential to what I do now in marketing. I have a broad, deep and eclectic background spanning human resources, technology and the arts. The impetus for founding this practice stemmed from my many years as an entrepreneur in the information technology field.
As a small business owner, I was constantly seeking vendors who understood that I wanted our relationship to grow over time. I didn’t want all the bells and whistles up front. My philosophy was to add additional services as needed. It’s amazing how few vendors grasped this concept. They were constantly trying to sell me things I didn’t need or understand. I’d have to remind them that although I serviced clients the size of the Port Authority of NY/NJ, I wasn’t a client that size.
I needed services that were scalable. In some cases, I needed a certain amount of handholding to start. Then, as I acquired experience, I needed a vendor who could turn around and follow my lead. That’s my promise: To participate at the level you need me, whether it’s guiding your mom-and-pop startup through your first campaign or playing the utility infielder on your large corporate team to pull off the seemingly impossible.
